Poetry and Architecture: Collaborative Poem
We are excited to share with you a recording of a poem created as part of a collaborative project between architecture scholars.
The poem, Home before Home, was written as part of a workshop series, led by Magma editors Leo Boix and Stav Poleg, encouraging scholars from different universities to experiment in collaborative poetry writing.

Poetic Spatial Writing
The workshops were organized by Irit Katz, Jilly Traganou and Anat Messing and were led by the poets Leo Boix and Stav Poleg. Participants were Parwana Amiri, Edwina Attlee, Khensani Jurczok-de Klerk, Irit Katz, Marija Marić, Kitya Mark, Mpho Matsipa, Anat Messing, Olga Touloumi, Jilly Traganou, and Nora Wendl .
The organisers wish to thank the Cambridge Humanities Research Grants, the Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility, and The New School for funding the Poetic Spatial Writing project, and Christ’s College for hosting the spring 2025 workshop.
