My left hand is my telephone hand,
My holding hands hand,
My steadying, leaning, measuring hand.
My right hand is my computing hand,
My lifting, beckoning, punching hand,
My creating and destroying hand.
If I joined them more often
I might reach equilibrium…
Find peace –
Feel, perhaps, something jewelled
On the third finger of the left hand
with forefinger and thumb of the right
