Benedict Newbery

Benedict Newbery lives in London and works in magazine print production. His poems have appeared in a number of publications including Ambit, The North, PBLJ, Finished Creatures, Acumen, Prole and The Alchemy Spoon. He collaborates with others to make poetry films – his poem The Royal Oak (published in Magma 43) was commissioned for C4’s Random Acts. He has been awarded Time and Space residences with METAL Southend, and was previously Magma’s production manager. He was co-editor of Magma 74 – the ‘Work’ issue.
