Magma Selected: Elizabeth Bradfield

Magma Selected highlights a single poet who is emerging or whose work deserves to be better known, allowing us to publish a wider selection of poems.
Our Selected Poet for Magma 96 is Elizabeth Bradfield and we are delighted to be able to share her reading her wonderful poems in the current issue of Magma. Poet/naturalist Elizabeth Bradfield’s most recent books are SOFAR: Poems and Cascadia Field Guide: Art, Ecology, Poetry, which received a Pacific Northwest Book Award. Winner of the Audre Lorde Prize in Lesbian Poetry and Editor-in-chief of Broadsided, Liz works as a naturalist and teaches at Western Colorado University’s low-residency MFA.
