At the launch of The Loss Issue, we’ll celebrate the past, memorialise the lost and look to the future with poems that are beautiful, moving and alive. Come and explore how to reconnect with lost roots, make sense of a country that is losing its unity – and find out how some losses can bring unexpected gains.

This issue of Magma features commissioned poems written during a collaboration between poets, counsellors and psychologists.
